Living with pain is frustrating.

When I ask my pain patients about their emotional state, they often report that although they have no history of anxiety or depression, the pain is getting them down.
They have the energy and the motivation to do the things they want to do but pain is preventing them from doing the things they love.

Whether it’s an inability to lift their children because of back pain or difficulty playing sports or working out because of shoulder or elbow pain, or difficulty doing the dishes at night, it can be depressing to have to choose each day between doing the things you love vs. knowing you’ll suffer the next day.

It can be difficult to keep on top of daily tasks at work or at home when you’re suffering. And of course, you know that long-term use of ibuprofen or Aleve isn’t an ideal strategy but what else should you do?

Imagine feeling a reduction in pain in just one acupuncture treatment and being pain free after 3 or 4 visits, naturally, without drugs or surgery.

Imagine chronic pain like an old injury or arthritis being an annoyance you can live with rather than a life-altering condition.

Getting back to doing what you love with the people you love is really what all healing is about. Acupuncture has been used for thousands of years to do just that.

My goal is to make people’s lives healthier, happier and pain-free.
